I don't use jabber, but there are plenty of IRC channels where you can chat Esperanto. One of the most active ones (where I often inhabit) is ##esperanto at freenode.net. There's usually someone around to talk to, or get help from in real-time in case you have questions.

whenever i try to use irc it takes hours to get respond. i just wait few hours and then leave without answer for next few months.

Perhaps you're entering at a bad time. Late evening and early morning UTC are fairly active most days of the week (I can't speak for other times because I don't sit in the channel 24/7). You can't expect to get a prompt response immediately every time.

And if nobody's around in ##esperanto, you can always try Lernu's instant messenger (Tujmesaĝilo). It's pretty quiet too sometimes, but at least with two different things to try, you've got twice as much chance of catching someone ridulo.gif.

Jitsi also can access to Jabber network. This way somebody could stay connected to some kind of 'videoconferencing enabled' Jabber network (including default Jabber instant messenger).

I recommend using Hello Talk on iphone. It is good. It is like Whatsapp but for language learning.
