Leporinjo, Are you already and advanced speaker?
We might have to wait for the next update for it to show up on mobile.
pikachuu93:I tried to test out multiple times but got loads of answers wrong because they don't seem to recognise a wide range of synonyms in either English or Eo, and they don't allow reordering. However, it's great it's finally up and running! It might expand. Remember it is in Beta. Maybe you can intentionally put right answers and complain/ report a problem.
Christa627:That's awesome news, but how does one access the course? All I see is the page with all the updates. I signed in, but it's still the same. I'm doing Spanish on the mobile app, can I access this course with the app?Try it from this page. I don't know why Duolingo keeps the incubator so separated from their main site, but they do.

BeardedBloke:I hope this isn't rude, but given the popularity, mindshare and inbuilt audience of Duolingo in respect to Esperanto, do you think Lernu will be adversely affected? I presume the devs have given this some thought...Well, I think more adversely for lernu was the article on the verge: http://www.theverge.com/2015/5/29/8672371/learn-es.... Apart from that I think the Duolingo course is one more good Esperanto course, and it's current target group are more or less mainly the people who already use Duolingo (also limited to English speakers). For lernu it is time for the new lernu including the new course(s?). Then maybe also the Duolingo learners will use lernu, not only for learning but also for practising the language. We are the ones who hope

Sunjo:You should also realize that while duolingo is good at throwing you into the deep end of forming sentences some of the courses here are more aimed at getting you used to using what you know and expanding your vocabulary … in my opinion that are going to work together in wonderful ways!BeardedBloke:I hope this isn't rude, but given the popularity, mindshare and inbuilt audience of Duolingo in respect to Esperanto, do you think Lernu will be adversely affected? Leke:"Ĉu la parko grandas?"I was very suspicious when I saw this. It seems very weird to me.
Wow, I'm on the basic level and I'm learning so much.
I am happy to try the Duolingo system. It is nice. I think I will learn a lot from it. There are some downsides though. For example, the sentences are sometimes really weird. The cafes are large, because there are women (or something like that).
Also, I have a question, how can the -as ending be for present continuous and present simple?
For the sentence: Mi iras al la lernejo - the answer can be I go to the school or I am going to the school. Or another example, I eat an apple or I am eating an apple are both correct answers. How can they both be the right answer. If they are both right then what is -ant- used for?
I like the app and I can see what there was so much excitement about it.

Alkanadi:Both answers are correct because Esperanto has no continuous aspect. Like e.g. German and Russian, two of the languages Z spoke.Leke:"Ĉu la parko grandas?"I was very suspicious when I saw this. It seems very weird to me.

My six years old son had the same problem while studying his English word list for school. He argued that if cousin meant primo then cousin can't mean at the same time prima too. He fell into the same trap as you did.
