But most people in the world do not know the change.
India PM spoke in his nation language last year, I think, I do not able to understand the language. This year, I strongly believe that he will do it again.
If we can press the leaders from our countries to speak in our national languages, this would give rise to the language right conscious to more people in the world.
Of course, the representative from UEA must do the same.
Now, the internet age, we can watch UN proceeding live.
The UEA representative did once only in 2012 but stopped doing it.

Go luck with this project and let us know how we can help.

Tempodivalse:I have heard that you can use Esperanto at the UN, but I don't remember seeing a source - can someone confirm that this is true? The links provided by se don't seem to say that anywhere.Kara, read the policy
Interpretation and Translation
A delegate may speak in any official UN language. The speech is interpreted simultaneously into the other official languages of the UN. At times, a delegate may choose to make a statement using a non-official language. In such cases, the delegation must provide either an interpretation or a written text of the statement in one of the official languages. Most UN documents are issued in all six official languages, requiring translation from the original document.
As long as you can provide the translation text, you are able to make the speech. Search the UN webtv for the India President MODI speech at 69th General Conference.
UEA rep Stefano Keller did once in 2012 here. But thereafter no one did again. I watch the UN webtv whenever I can but alas, the time and internet volume is the problem for me.
