mi aĉetis kiun mi ŝatas.
mi aĉetis tiun mi ŝatas.
mi aĉetis tiun kiun mi ŝatas.
mi aĉetis kiun Tiun mi ŝatas.

Are all of them correct? Do they mean the same thing?

WereVrock:Mi aĉetis tiun, kiun mi ŝatas.
This one is perfectly fine and says “I bought that one, which I like”.

WereVrock:Mi aĉetis, kiun mi ŝatas.
This one is also correct and synonymous to the one before. You can look at it as an ellipsis of the word “tiun” (which is obvious and omitting it doesn't cause confusion).

WereVrock:Mi aĉetis, tiun mi ŝatas.
Written like that, this one is wrong. If you'd write this as “Mi aĉetis. Tiun mi ŝatas”, then it could make sense but without stronger connection between the two sentences: “I bought. — [pause] — I like that one”.

WereVrock:Mi aĉetis kiun, tiun mi ŝatas.
This one is simply wrong.

Well, but I'm not an expert, so I'll be happy to hear someone more experienced. ridulo.gif

Since there isn't any objection yet. I will assume that what you are saying is correct. Thanks.

I agress. However it is only wrong due to the word order (in this case the missing wh-fronting). If you change the word order, it becomes grammatical:

Kiun mi aĉetis, tiun mi ŝatas.

I like the one I bought.

It is worth noting though, that grammatically correct or not, this is now a different sentence with a different meaning.
