What level exam have you passed:
http://en.lernu.net/mia_lernu/ekzamenoj/ekzamenoj....

I passed exam A a long time ago with 46.

I just tried exam B and failed big time. I got 15 out of 50. My reading and listening comprehension needs the most improvement.

Mi estas Esperantistaĉo. But, I will get better in time. I have almost completed the Duolingo tree.

I didn't take them yet, but sure will in the future. ridulo.gif

I've taught myself from the internet and an old textbook I got from my local Esperanto-association. I didn't really like the courses at Lernu and for now I've left the Duolingo tree unfinished (last few levels to do). And I'm hoping to pass both basic and medium level. ridulo.gif

If you need more exercise with reading Esperanto, then kial vi ne skribis vian demandon en la esperanta parto de tiu ĉi forumo? lango.gif

After the fourth (4th) try, I passed A level with 44/50 (88%).
The first try was 33 points and it was the lowest result.
In the last try I had mistakes like "mlpli" (not "malpli") etc and only two mistakes was really the mistakes (I think you understand).
I have not tried B level, because I know Esperanto for 4 months.
As you remember me, I have problems with English, so you can still correct mistakes okulumo.gif

I passed the A level with 47/50 yesterday on the first try after remembering the exams existed after finishing Ana Pana, Ana Renkontas, and Jen Nia IJK, along with some Duolingo practice.

Got cocky and tried B. 25/50. So got some studying to do before trying that again.

Unfortunately, the B test actually has a few questions that have several possible answers, but only one is accepted, at least when I last looked at it. I passed the C test long before the B test for that reason. I wonder how many other people that's tripping up.

Thanks, Alkanadi, for reminding me of the Lernu exams! ridulo.gif I've passed the basic level in 14 minutes with just two stupid mistakes and now I'm waiting for my copy of “Kontakto”. ridego.gif

The grading system for the lernu tests is highly questionable. The first time I took the baznivela exam I failed...with a score of 48/50 points. That's a score of 96 percent, and it's considered a failure just because two missed questions were in the same section?

I passed the baznivela exam first try with just a typo or two holding me back from perfect. Maybe someday I'll retake that exam, just to be perfect.

This thread inspired me to try out the meznivela exam, since I've done the intermediate courses and have used the language a lot in IRC and several chat clients. It was actually really easy, but I did fail due to what I still consider to be valid answers but were not credited by the exam, as others have mentioned in this thread. And so, I have to wait another week to try again O.o

Which questions are you referring to, do you remember? The ones where you correct a sentence are hard because you are instructed to change something only if it is wrong. So if you change what is correct to something else that is also correct, that's marked wrong. It's teaching you to distinguish correct (with unusual style) from actual wrong.
