With the advent of popular apps like Duolingo and Memrise, it would be interesting to see how many people learning languages with software are using their mobile vs using a desktop OS.

That is an excellent question.
U.S. users are now spending the majority of their time consuming digital media within mobile applications, according to a new study... Combined with mobile web, mobile usage as a whole accounts for 60% of time spent, while desktop-based digital media consumption makes up the remaining 40%.

PS. Is there a way to resize an image on Lernu?

Looks like "none", plus or minus rounding error. As was said above, phones and computers are not used for the same things for the most part.

I often access Lernu on my phone. It's not terrible, but also not ideal. I know many sites have both a desktop version and a mobile one; I think that's a good idea.

Does it introduce extra features, such as possibility to subscribe a subforum by email?

Web browsing via smartphone is non-ideal anyway. Everything is so small and you have to scroll all over the place to see content, even on a mobile-friendly site (due to pixel constraints).
