Esperanto Participle Help

I have been learning the participles and though I learned basically how they work, it's confusing how some of the more complex participles work.

I know that:
Mi estas/is/os lernanta - I am/was/will be learning

and

Ĝi estas/is/os farinta - It is/was/will be done

(Note: I know how those participle combinations work, not only those specific words.)

But I don't know how the other combinations work at all, especially the adverbial participles, could someone help me?

Also could someone translate this:
Why does she think that we can do everything without us knowing the material?

Kial ŝi opinias, ke ni povas fari ĉion, sen ke ni konas la materialon?

Kial ŝi pensas ke ni, nesciante la materialon, povas fari ĉion?

Slavic syntax to the rescue.

Or you could use sen + infinitive.

Kial ŝi opinias, ke ni povas fari ĉion sen koni la materialon.
