I think it is a very good idea to have the classrooms, but they are no use, if we have no classes. I think it is a very good oportunity to learn esperanto from members with experience.

So maybe there is a way to "activate" the classrooms again. Why are there no classes? What cna we do to get classes?

I would also like to see the classes available, it would be great if a voice program such as Skype was used so the more advanced speakers could help with pronounciation in a lesson. As a beginner I would find it a great help to have live feedback on my spoken Esperanto.

What do people think?

I know that my dad had lessons in english trough internet, with some kind of oral evaluation. It helped him a lot, even though he still has his german accent, which sounds VERY funny to me.

So I think that is a very good idea.

What does it take to get this idea off the ground?  Who does what, when?

Do you have MSN Messenger?  That could help you interact with Esperantistoj.  The courses at lernu.net are excellent, and my experience with a lingohelpanto was positive--though they do seem short of manpower at times. There's a chatroom (babilejo) at gxangalo.com.  And there's a staggering amount of reading material available.  Don't be discouraged!

@baqarah131

I tried the adress you wrote in , but it doesn't seems to work. Are you sure it is the right adress?

I want to try to find somebody, who is "responible" for the classrooms.

gxangalo was down for a day or two but is usually very reliable.  For online reading material, check http://esperanto.luin.nu/eLibrejo/.

Here is the answer I got back:

Hi

I'm not sure if someone has replied to you already.  We hope to get the
classrooms running again in 2-3 months, but right now we are quite busy with
working on a new look for the site.  After that is complete, we will have
more time for other things.  If you would like to help with the programming,
please let us know!  We are volunteers and we always need more people.
