Wish I could come, but price is definitely an issue. I'm spending nearly a month in Italy in June, and all my vacation money (and more) is gone.

Sounds brilliant, though!

I am really thinking about taking part in the Summer course but I am unsure about how to get there. For me it's no problem to get to Bratislava but how to get to the place where the course is. It seems to be a bit outside and I do not know nothing about the language.. is there anything planed about this?

dankon.

Hi

You can take a train from Bratislava to a town neighboring where the course is held. From there, I think you could take a taxi. In most countries, if you have the name of the place where you are going written on a piece of paper, it isn't a problem to show it to the taxi driver and they'll take you there.

Or else, you may be able to get a ride from someone who is going to be at the course with a car. This is pretty common and I expect that as the event draws closer, prospective participants will start to make plans for this.

I plan to attend and also have not quite worked out how I will get there. But please sign up, don't let transportation stop you! I expect to get there by train from Bratislava, as I just described (and I also do not speak Slovak or any related language). If you do sign up, I would certainly be happy to correspond with you privately and help you make your transportation plans, as I make my own.

Hi,

the place where the course is held is so close to the Austrian border that I am pretty sure almost everybody who works for/with tourists will speak German and/or English.

I am also considering to join this meeting but of course, from Vienna it will be rather easy.

Maybe we even meet in Slovakia. sal.gif
