Alkanadi:There is no such thing as marketing, right? It is all about the utility and has nothing to do with the packaging?
Well, it seems to be all about versatility. Sure, marketing can be versatile, too.

Just to point to another conlang conflict. During Slovianski conlang evolved that crashed with intentions of Slovio's creator who tried to make big money with Slovio. Slovio creator even bought several internet domains which were occupied with non-authentic Slovianski content. These attacts did end with this memorandum.

To learn foreign-language or conlang it needs much more than exchangeable word-shells which often end in from Hit to S##t status. Do you really wanna burn Esperanto's utility this way? Esperanto is not product which you can make users addicted to like some software or operating system. It needs culture pool as much versatile as possible to keep some language alive and attract following generations to follow up with Esperanto.

Nobody wants to burn Esperanto's utility. The point is that a product must be packaged nicely.

Yes. Esperanto is a product.

No, it is not. No more than German is 'a product'. Of course the teaching of languages as an 'educational product' for sale does occur (if you insist on using this tiresome commodities view of everything not nailed down).

I don't know why you think this will somehow skyrocket the take-up and number of users. There are hundreds of language courses for far larger languages out there (including English) with sexy packaging and fancy blurb. Once you buy it the rest is up to the user and the problem is you can't buy motivation and persistence along with the package. More people start language study than ever successfully finish it.

As you probably know (or not considering...) marketing costs time and money and the usual expectation is that you get some recompense for that effort and investment. Only charities and religious cults get the sort of mass voluntary 'free' labour necessary for mass awareness, and even that still costs a lot money.

So now I think we should see your marketing plan and learn how and why this is going to be such a great success. If it is I'll make a video of myself eating my hat and post it to You Tube.

Good. We are both on the same page.

Why don't you sell your hat on Ebay and then invest the money into a business. If you sell it for 20 dollars, that would cover the cost of hiring an employee for 1 hour.

I already have a business thanks. One that makes useful things that last a long time, not made by sweated labour or needing to be talked up by a silver-tongued, professional bovine muck-spreader.
It's not in league with the get-rich-quick mentality of those dreaming about one day of effort and a lifetime's worth of cashing in on the cow. Those who like to say: 'work smarter, not harder', when in fact they are hoping to avoid work at all.

Okay. Instead of eating your hat, sell it on ebay and invest the money into your business. Eating a hat is bad for your health. You would be better off monetizing it.
