I think it's this, but I'm not sure.
Mi estas kantonta
Mi estis kantonta
Mi estos kantonta
How is "I would be going to sing" said?

Zvoc47:Is it possible to say "I'm going to sing", "I was going to sing" and "I will be going to sing"?You got all three correct.
I think it's this, but I'm not sure.
Mi estas kantonta
Mi estis kantonta
Mi estos kantonta
How is "I would be going to sing" said?
"I would be going to sing" = Mi estus kantonta

Someone: "You didn't do the task!"
Me: "But I was gonna!"
How do I say gonna that has no verb? Is there a verb placeholder like, "I did", "I do", "I have", "I will".

Zvoc47:Okay, thanks. But how do I answer in this situation?Might be a tricky question.
Someone: "You didn't do the task!"
Me: "But I was gonna!"
How do I say gonna that has no verb? Is there a verb placeholder like, "I did", "I do", "I have", "I will".
It comes down to the actual meaning. If 'gonna' means that you were just about to do it, then you could say 'Sed mi estis faronta!' (It's not my style, but I suppose to make it slangy, you could say 'Sed mi farontis!')
If 'gonna' means that you intended to do it some time in the future, then you could say 'Sed mi intencis...'
[Estro] "Vi ne faris la taskon"
[Vi] "Sed mi estis faronta!" (aŭ) "Sed mi intencis!"
Hope this helps.
