This may be long overdue, but we’re excited nonetheless: you can now learn Esperanto in Transparent Language Online!Link
They must have noticed how many people are learning Esperanto on Duolingo.
This is good. The more language programs that have Esperanto, the better. It is great exposure.

Sorry, Alkanadi, but it seems to be that you only see what you want to see. Lift yourself out before Esperanto pokets (vereinnahmen) you completely or pushes you into sadness of kabei-ing. Btw, I say this to keep you inside E-o community.

With regard to the question, I'm convinced that Duolingo's success has had some effect on other online Esperanto learning resources.

spreecamper:Success of social networks at the Net mainly is based on option to escape self-determined from offline loneliness into Net community togetherness. In my opinion someone should not misunderstand success of social networks at the Net (=Duolingo) like working success outside the Net. It needs lot more to bring out these members of Social networks into Face-to-Face events. Duolingo can only work like primer not like a proof of FV (I dislike to write out this words). Take it realistic. For four years, we had no new faces at our Esperanto events. In the last six months, we've had eight new people rock up with high levels of Esperanto proficiency and three which have showed up semi-regularly.

You mean that I shouldn't be too obsessed over Esperanto? What should I lift myself out of? Don't worry, I am not an ideolog. I have a pretty balanced life.

Almost, 4 hundred thousand people signed up to learn Esperanto. That is amazing and it sends a message about the economic viability of producing language products for Esperanto learners.
