If you've never heard of StackExchange take a look at the proposal site and also the rest of the sites. There are a wide range of topics. One of the great things about StackExchange is the proposal. Because the site won't actually make it to beta until there's a level of commitment, you're assured of it hitting the ground with a running start.

There's always that element but they don't overwhelm the other language or linguistics sections. There's already areas for bitcoin and monero, the Esperanto community should weed those out in time. The monero community even has a section to allow their users communication in Esperanto.
The communities do have a natural tendency to avoid pollution of other communities on the sites.
I also think the speed of adoption by new StackExchange users shows more interest from those interested in Esperanto. That 55.1% doesn't have the same weight in adoption as users that support other proposals on StackExchange. Nor does it have the weight of users with greater reputation site-wide. What I think it shows is a promise for a healthy adoption without long-lasting pollution.
I hope this doesn't come across as argumentative. They were just some points I wanted to highlight in the chance you found them helpful.

Even with those, I'm still for this proposal. My reason is that Duolingo was my way to learn Esperanto because it worked with my total of 4 hours of commuting each day. I also get caught up and puzzled by words like "librofine" and "malmultiĝintaj" instead of focusing on basic reading comprehension or more useful vocabulary or speaking.... (I still don't have clear definitions of those words.).
A question that is fine to just linger out there in the wind until someone wants to tell me to learn the basics of compounds/word creation instead of answering.

librofine = libr/o/fin/e. = book + end + -e ending. The -e ending is often used to indicate time or location. So "librofine" would probably mean something like "at the end of a book" (or "book-end-ly"). Like I said, context is king, and in some cases it is hard to give the meaning of a compound word if you haven't given the whole sentence in which it appears, so in the future, you might want to give this context when you ask the meaning of a word. This one looks pretty clear to me, however.
malmultiĝintaj = mal/mult/iĝ/int/aj
multa = many. malmulta = few
multiĝi = to become many. malmultiĝi = to become few
[x]-inta = having become [x].
Therefore - malmultiĝintaj = having become few (in a plural form, so we assume that plural things have become few in number). Hard to give a better translation without context but you might say that a few species of birds have recently "malmultiĝintaj" (become few in number)
