Also, can someone help me with the vocabulary for pushups, situ-ps, pull-ups, chin-ups, and squats? I can guess at these, but any input is greatly appreciated.

Li ekzercas sin. Li ekzerciĝas. He is exercising.
(Remember that the stress falls on the second-last syllable)
Ŝi trejnas sin. Ŝi trejniĝas. She is training.
Li trejnas ŝin. He is training her.
Li gimumas. He is at the gym.
Li etendas sin komence. He begins with stretching.
Poste li aerobikas. Then he does aerobic exercises.
Ĉu li trejnas sin? Does he work out?

Perhaps one does not need to be too explicitly descriptive in Esperanto for push-ups, sit-ups and so on.
These expressions in English are not so explicitly descriptive in English that someone unfamiliar with there usage would know immediately what they refer to.
So in context perhaps puŝumoj, sidumoj, kaŭrumoj, levumoj and so on would serve.
We have the suffix 'um' so that ideas can be expressed that relate to the preceding root but whose exact relationship is not covered by some other suffix - just as we use 'je' when a more specific preposition doesn't fit,
