Just wondering if anyone here uses Twitter and if you do, do you twitter in Esperanto?

I'm not an avid twitter-er myself, but I do have it.

And no, I don't twitter in esperanto... yet...

solidtux is my twitter name

I twitter, though I really haven't had much reason to twitter in Esperanto...other than to express my opinion for a type of computer. I just liked the way it expressed my opinion better. Though as I learn more I'll probably twitter more in Esperanto

(Yay for thread necromancing)

I got a twitter account today and I'm probably going to try to tweet en Esperanto at least once a day.

Does anyone who use Twitter have their default language set to Esperanto? They've translated the times on that site but nothing else, and the word "ago" is still in English. It's a bit bizarre.

It's been a while since I posted the original message here. Just wanted to let anyone interested know that there are a bunch of twitter-ers that post in Esperanto. And some of them tweet a whole lot during the course of a day. By the way hiyayaywhopee, what is your twitter name?

I've just started tweeting Esperante - there seems to be a bunch of Esperantists on there.

And the only languages you can select are English and Japanese... but you can tweet in whatever you like!

I'm Desideratist, same as I am on here.

I have a twitter account that I use exclusively in Esperanto ridulo.gif It's http://twitter.com/poligloto

There are plenty of programs that let you use two (or more) twitter accounts at the same time, I'd suggest people use a separate account for each language like I've done, and handle them in the one program (e.g. twhirl in Windows). It makes it easier to subscribe and follow people!
Doing this has forced me to update twitter regularly and practise my Esperanto!! I've done the same multilingual separation on my blog.

That's what I should do. I'll post here if I decide to make an Esperanto twitter account.

Does anyone else have their browser default language set to Esperanto? The twitter site is sort of oddly half-translated.

I deliberately set this up to tweet only in Esperanto; although my tweets are not exactly earth shatteringly interesting, I've somehow acquired quite a following. So join us ridulo.gif

I like the separate Esperanto account idea. I'm in the process of setting my Esperanto account up... since I'm not very creative, I picked the name solidtux_eo

@ironchef

I am a twitterer, and just tried to subscribe to Ironchef, but was 'refused at the request of the user'.

I interpreted your post to be an open invitation, so apologies if I misunderstood you.
