I suppose like many English speakers I fall all over the accusative case.

I think I just answered my own question while writing it out, but let me ask the question anyway.
Given the question....
Does your father collect postage stamps?
I am thinking the accusative in a question is identical to the statement?
Your father collects postage stamps.
Via patro kolektas poŝtmarkojn.
So the question would be...
Ĉu faras via patro kolektas poŝmarkojn?
Is this correct?

The difference between a statement and a question is the word ĉu and a question mark.
Via patro kolektas poŝtmarkojn.
Ĉu via patro kolektas poŝtmarkojn?
Vi ŝatas kukon.
Ĉu vi ŝatas kukon?
Li estas feliĉa, ke vi lernas Esperanton.
Ĉu li estas feliĉa, ke vi lernas Esperanton?
