Vestitor:I'm sure ahawkua will be very eager to put all that... positive advice to work. If he can make any sense of it.You're an idiotic troll.
Those 'challenges' you seem to be facing are not because people fail to acknowledge your unique perspective, it's because - notwithstanding the bizarre obsession with 'Esperanto etiquette' - you present yourself as a complete and utter twit.

mkj1887:[Vestitor is] an idiotic troll.@mkj1887: I'm not actually sure that's the right thing to say. Firstly, trolls need respect all right, they just don't want it. They feed off of being insulted. That's the first reason why you shouldn't go troll-to-troll.
The second reason is, the way Vestitor condemned me and how he condemned Usonano78 was usually brief, without presenting evidence or lines of reasoning. I'm not denying that he's a troll, nor am I calling you a troll, but if you try to beat him at the brief condemnation thing, no one knows because of it who is really the troll here. The "idiotic" and "troll" accusations are cards; they are something that goes around. What goes around comes around. That's a slogan or thought-terminating cliche, but this time it's true. So when it comes to condemning Vestitor and not letting cards come around, you need to come big or stay at home as it were, by which I mean ignore him or present evidence or a line of reasoning, or better yet, both. Actually what's even better than that is, just ignore him unless he verbally mauls someone that is neither yourself nor me or he says some sort of physical warning or threat such as "The pair of you need to be in prison" or "Have you tried lithium (hint: it's not a game)" again.
The third reason is, I'm not sure it's strictly accurate to say that he is idiotic. When it comes to repairing bicycles, making clothes, using Esperanto or maybe one other activity, he seems to be proficient, though I hereby still question his putative academic authority in any topic whatsoever, and whether or not other types of authority exist, clearly he has no authority of any other type whatsoever. If he harshly objects to what I just said about his putative authority, then it's only more evidence that there's something wrong with his credentials. And he's already accused me of being politically naive, so he is hereby discouraged from bringing up politics, because I'm ready for that one already.
So, mkj1887, what should you say to him? Well I recommend ... nothing. Just ignore him in this case and cases like this.

Grown:You're rather obsessed with 'credentials' aren't you? In the internet world (apart from professional forums perhaps) it's quite useless to demand 'credentials'. What are you after, scans of diplomas and lists of published articles? Would that make a difference to what a person writes on here? Any discussion rests on the quality of the argument presented, not official 'credentials'.
If he harshly objects to what I just said about his putative authority, then it's only more evidence that there's something wrong with his credentials.
You're also misrepresenting me for your own gain (somewhat like a mini-true operative) by alleging that no line of argument has ever been employed against either your drivelling diatribes or those of Usonano78, with whom you are completely obsessed. Anyone is free to go and look at those threads and read them. You then end up looking like the liar you are.
Grown:And he's already accused me of being politically naive, so he is hereby discouraged from bringing up politics, because I'm ready for that one already. You must be joking. If you're not joking then roll out your best because I've taken on bigger and better than you in that arena. People who can string a sentence together and express themselves clearly. You're not a challenge.

mkj1887:Is this all you do: look for posts I've made in order to fling that repeated insult? That seems to me the classic behaviour of trolls.Vestitor:I'm sure ahawkua will be very eager to put all that... positive advice to work. If he can make any sense of it.You're an idiotic troll.

If you have an issue state it clearly, contact me personally. Hanging out your dirty washing in public just makes you look petty and foolish.

I have no trouble allowing for differing ways in which people contribute and I also easily understand that different people might look at the same thing and come to different conclusion or solutions or whatever.... but after reading ALL that, I was left really scratching my head.

josxuo:Ummm.... YES. I have no trouble allowing for differing ways in which people contribute and I also easily understand that different people might look at the same thing and come to different conclusion or solutions or whatever.... but after reading ALL that, I was left really scratching my head.No ... after reading all THAT, I was left scratching my head. For example, I did not understand "Ummm.... YES". What does that mean? When you said, "after reading ALL that", what were you referring to? English. The language in which words mean a lot less than they ought to. I learned Esperanto for a reason. This is likely the last time I ever respond to a Lernu thread that's marked as Esperanto but is actually in English.
Oh, sure, Esperanto posters may make a few typos and when they're corrected they might say "Paul, Paul, why are you persecuting me?!", but overall the lack of idioms actually makes posts clearer.
