MacBook Pro Esperanto Keyboard?

Hello Everyone!

I am using a MacBook Pro, and I would really like to be able to type in Esperanto, and I was curious if Tajpi has been developed for the Mac OS? If it hasn't, my next question would be, does anyone know how I can obtain a program that can help me type in Esperanto in the Mac OS? I don’t really like typing my characters with an x, and I’d really prefer to somehow type the characters themselves.

I would really appreciate any help anyone can provide me, as I'd really like to find a solution to this issue I've encountered.

Thanks for responding. I already saw that, but I don't know if that method covers all the characters. I will look into again. I don't like having to press additional buttons just to get a character during Esperanto typing. I wish I could just type s x like within Tajpi, but alas no such program exists. I wish someone with Mac OS programming skills could program some code for an application to use within the Mac OS. I wonder if there are any programs like Tajpi for linux, because Mac OS is based on UNIX code, and linux is based on UNIX code.. So, someone could easily convert a linux program to Mac OS code. Unfortunately, I highly doubt there is a linux program like Tajpi though.

You can download this program then just type with the x-method and it will automatically convert the letters to Esperanto: https://github.com/alkanadi/E-Hats

Also, I am told that the Canadian international keyboard has a carrot key that will add the accent.

The information given on the site suggested by Roch is good unless you are using the newest versions of the operating system (Sierra, for sure). In this case, the name of the keyboard you want has been changed and is now ABC - Extended, not U.S. Extended. That small detail caused me a lot of grief until I finally got up-to-date information from Apple. But even there I had to talk to several people before I found someone who knew what the problem was.

I've tried but there is no such thing as ABC extended in my list. I'm freaking out.

this sound interesting. I've followed your advise and went to the site you linked. But once there I don't know what to do. It,s a programming site, there is no download button or similar. Am I to dumb? Can you help?
