In the Wikipedia article on ‘opportunity cost’, it is pointed out that although the term was introduced in the year 1914, it had been anticipated by others. It cites only two names of those who anticipated the term: Franklin and Bastiat. However, Zamenhof was also one of those who anticipated the term, and I have added mention of that fact in my website entry for ‘opportunity cost’, which you can view here.
