You can pronounce a "schwa", like "e" in french, that is sometimes prononced "uh" kaj sometimes not pronounced at all. If you pronounce "kuhnabo" (with a and o like in normal esperanto), you will be well understood, because that sound "uh" doesn't exist in esperanto. And that sound will progressively disappear.
