Does anyone know where free PDF copies might be acquired?
I don't have the money right now for a subscription but I'd like to use the mag as a learning tool. Just two or three issues would suffice.

And the two previous months' issues are there too: http://uea.org/revuoj
It's 'Esperanto' rather than Kontakto. I'm sure the UEA tries to scrape back whatever money it can from selling old issues, because the subscriptions are dwindling.

I am still interested in finding some Kontakto issues just because they are specifically geared toward the beginner reader, but these will also be very nice to have!
That's a shame to hear that subscriptions are dwindling for these Esperanto magazines. With the Internet ubiquitous these days more and more people are abandoning the magazine format, but I still think it's very valuable.

The program lists don't show *when* a particular item can be heard in their one-hour long podcasts, so you have to guess.
In the 'Elsendo de 9a de januaro 2017', for example - http://melburno.org.au/3ZZZradio/2017/01/10/elsend... - you might guess that the article from Kontakto can be heard about two-thirds of the way through the broadcast, and you would be right (at 40 minutes).
