The word ‘dismissive’ occurs in Vikivortaro, but not in Benson, nor in Wells, nor in ReVo, nor in Sonja. So kudos to Vikivortaro!

Is it me or those references are obscur to most... Vestitor had the kindness to guide me towards John C. Wells but the two others, Sonja and Benson are still unknown to me!

Here's the 'Sonja' dictionary

"Benson" is a dictionary by Peter Benson, which is claimed as the most comprehensive and seems to be favoured by American Esperantists judging by the coverage of it on Esperanto USA.

Once again, though, since mkj still doesn't seem to understand the point of how Esperanto - or a dictionary - works (despite claiming high proficiency) there is no need for a separate entry for derived words. The words for 'dismiss' already exist and malŝati = slight/not think much of, already exists. It is then the job of the Esperantist in question to employ the affix: em making malŝatema = Dismissive.

Thanks Vestitor!

there is no need for a separate entry for derived words.

And I would think that a thread of the type of "Birdoj al Alta !" of Flago/Standardo in the About everything else's forum could be an interesting alternative... rideto.gif

Ha! I had forgotten about that thread. I have Chinese switched off in the language filter (maybe I shouldn't). You have to give that guy credit for perseverance, though there are also interesting snippets of information.
