After waiting for over a year to be able to reach my former Esperanto contacts, I shall now assume the message system has in practical terms been abandoned.

It would seem so, and it's a shame. A website where you can learn a language but not speak it with others seems...rather pointless.

I know. I just got back after a time away and it looks like there's only one course, the babilejo is gone, all the word games are gone. What happened?

Ŝajnas al mi, ke la retejo estas en ia vintrodormo verdire; ke neniun administranto administras ĝin nuntempe; kaj ke oni esperu ricevi neniun respondon aŭ novan ĝisdatigon ĝis iu nedifinita futuro.
Oni nur povas esperi ke l' administrantoj de la retejo publikigos iun proksiman daton por reaktivigado de la retejo.
