Hello i have recently hit an obstacle in being fluent in Esperanto and creating and reading words. I have noticed there is an incredible amount of prefixes and suffixes in the language. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the ones that are almost never used so i can not focus on them as much. Or give me some advice on how to deal with all of these possible affixes on words. Thank you!

for beginning, as a game, i find it funny to use the prefixes alone:

eks! (dimission!)
ek (al laboro)! (come on!)
aĉ! (yuck!)
fi!
dis! (scram!)
op!
mis! (oops)
bis!
em!
re! (again!, back!)

i need some help to complete the meanings of the isolated afixes, they give the most emotional approach

In fact, they use alone only ek! and fi!
They also use bis!, but it is not an affix.

The amount of original affixes isn't that incredible. Of course there are more newer ones but those are either not commonly accepted or used in a specific field, like in medicine (PMEG has a long list of new affixes with argumentation for or against). A hint: Stick with the original ones.

Many languages use affixes, but perhaps their use is not so outspoken for a native speaker. For instance, in English you have those de-, en-, in-, un-, -hood, -ly, -ness, -ous and certainly plenty more. If it helps, think what might be the corresponding one in your native language. For instance, think mal- as de- (see definition 1 of the prefix in Merriam-Webster), so bela: beautiful, malbela: de-beautiful = ugly.

There is no need to memorise all affixes at once. Rather take them as they come up in different courses. The two most popular ones are La teorio de Nakamura here in Lernu and the one in Duolingo. The former teaches you E-o in E-o and the later E-o using English. Take a couple of lessons in both and see which suits you better. When it comes to affixes, the Lernu course introduces them one by one among other things (IIRC there are no special affix lessons), while the Duolingo course have two lessons dedicated to affixes.

Lernu has an archive of fairy tales of different levels of difficulty. Juna amiko is a magazine for children and young people and therefore the articles are easy to read. There are also plenty of articles in the E-o Wikipedia (https://eo.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vikipedio:Ĉefpaĝo). By contrast the articles in La Monato (a monthly general journal in E-o) are in many cases written by people that are overly eager to come up with most complex ways of expressing things. But that's of course only my opinion.
