Lazaro_Manolo:Hi, I am a beginner in Esperanto, learning it during the school year as a hobby but plan to be quite serious about it during the summer. I was wondering if there are other forums online, besides lernu, that can be used to communicate in Esperanto? I've noticed there doesn't seem to be as much traffic on this site as I thought there'd be.This is the first time in months, maybe a year, that I've logged in to lernu. I don't think I could compose a whole post in Esperanto today.
It certainly doesn't look to me like there's much traffic anymore.
About two years ago the whole site was redesigned to look "modern", i.e., like Facebook or Instagram or Snapchat. Supposedly young folks were driven away by the 1990s appearance of the old lernu website. So where are all the young newbies? Still on Instagram and Snapchat, I guess.
