I have been trying to use Esperanto as much as possible, like writing my shopping lists, texting my friend, etc. I try to state things simply with the words I know and then google what I don't or try to look it up in my esp/eng dictionary. I wanted to say, "I slept well considering that I was in a hotel. I know all the words except how Esperanto would handle the "considering that" part. Google translate gives me "konsiderante ke," but when I looked up "konsiderante" in my esp/eng dictionary, it didn't exist, and vortaro.net doesn't have it, either. So, is "konsiderante" a word in Esperanto, and if not, how do I say that sentence?
Dankon multe

The same is in English. You can find in dictoinaries the verb 'consider', but not the participle 'considering' - it is formed regularly from verb. You can find particples of irregular verbs only. Esperanto don't have irregular verbs.

Strictly the adverbial participle should relate to the subject. The second form is more appropriate when commenting on the circumstances.
However I suspect this distinction is not always observed in practice.
Mi bone dormis, konsidere ke mi tranoktis en hotelo.
But mi pasigis la nokton konsiderante la problemon

If you look up kvankam at Vortaro.net, here, you will see RIM. 3) that it helpfully suggests as more contrasting alternatives Malgraŭ ke and Spite ke.
