So at a few hours a day, that's about 2 months? ... At that point, I would personally say that I was somewhere between A2 and B1. But a lot of this criteria seems dependent on the amount of vocabulary known, and I was self-taught and paid very little attention to vocabulary, so I might not be the ideal person to answer... I had a great grasp on grammar by that time, though. With a dictionary, I would certainly say I was well within your listed range.

Definitely. When I first attended SES (Slovaka Esperanto Studado, a big Esperanto event in Slovakia for learners) I was in the B1 class, and quite a few of the others in my class had only been learning for a very short period of time, 3 months or less.
