I am planning on learning other languages after becoming comfortable with esperanto. in fact, a major reason i began leaning esperanto was the studies that show that it decreases the time needed to learn other languages.

while i have come to enjoy esperanto in it's own right, i would like to learn spanish in the future and i'd love to hear about your experiences of moving from esperanto (with it's perfect orthography etc) to other languages...particularly spanish.

(same goes for french and german...but those should probably get their own thread).
