It seems that a lot of you have participated in the Public Studies IAL survey. A week ago I posted a topic in the "about other languages" section, and since then a company called "Public Studies" has taken on the survey. It closes in about a year, so hopefully everything will go well.

Thank you all so much for participating, I wasn't expecting so many Esperantists to help out!

You guys are awesome. If you have questions, please direct them to Public Studies, since I have nothing to do with the survey anymore (it's probably for the best that it is handled 3rd party). And for those of you who voted when I was hosting the survey, they are not going to count those results (also probably for the best), so if you could vote again using Public Studies much more secure system it'd be appreciated.

Thanks so much! Seriously. Hopefully this data will be much more accurate. Also, I'm sorry, but I felt the need to post the survey to other language forums as well. Obviously it'd be quite bias otherwise.

This is interesting stuff. You may be interested in the comparison that the late Esperantist Don Harlow made of various IALs here. There are more interesting links in the 'postnote' at the end. Sadly, Harlow passed away (less than a year ago), before his book could be published in physical form.

Thanks Miland,

I just skimmed over it and I find it to be a good read. I'm especially glad to see listed footnotes, as the other comparison charts that I've read usually are largely opinion based without footnotes.

Thanks again.
