Please read the below sentence and let me know if you think it is grammatically correct, and if not, what the problem is and what should be done to correct it:
"Ŝi parolis al la patrino pri la nuboj kaj la pluvo, montris al ŝi la grizajn nubojn, kaj diris ke si volas iri al la domo."

The sentence is not grammatical. Si refers to the subject and cannot be itself (part of the) subject.

You could use ŝi mem if you want to emphasise that it is the speaker herself who wants to go and not someone else.

I personally would use domen instead of al la domo.
