Etc. . .
This was all quite interesting. Thanks for looking it up and posting.

That seems to indicate that "kio, se" will do the job, even if there might be alternatives.

sudanglo:On seeing your question about 'What if', my immediate thought was to translate it as Kaj se ..
Metsis:
The expression kaj se came also to my mind immediately.
It would seem to me that "kaj se" would work quite well if you were responding to a comment spoken my someone else, but that it would be wanting if you were the one starting the conversation.

For instance, if you just went up to a friend and said something like, "Hey, let me ask you a question. . . You'll remember the other day we were talking about where you would travel to if you could go anywhere in Europe. Well what if you could go anywhere in Asia?"

It seems like "kaj se" would not quite work in that scenario.

I got two tonight.

The first would be the phrase "like never before." Example:

"Right now I need help like never before."

Second one is the phrase "well-intentioned." Example:

"As well-intentioned as he might be, there's no doubt that his methods are bad."

What do you guys think on these?

Well, sometimes a horse is just ein Pferd (meaning a literal translation will do).

● Ĵus nun mi bezonas helpon kiel neniam antaŭe.

While that certainly will make you understood, it sounds to me a bit too literal translation from English. I would probably say

● Neniam antaŭe kiel nun mi bezonas, ke vi helpu min.
● Neniam antaŭe kiel nun mi bezonas tiom multe da helpo.

Pri 1: Kion diris metsis.

Pri 2:
Kvankam lia intenco estis bona, sendube liaj metodoj estis malbonaj.
Kvankam li intencis/celis la plej bonan, ...
