I was shocked to learn of the passing away of Fr. Thomas Green, S.J. He was a penfriend for over 20 years. I will miss his wise and kind advice.
Still, as Buddha said, 'What I have taught you will be your teacher, when I am gone.'
I composed an Esperanto 'hajko' (haiku) for him:
Saĝa Amiko
Bonkora, pacienca -
Ripozu en pac'!

Miland:A sad loss for Catholics,anywaySorry for your loss. I am sure that, as a true Christian, it is not just a loss for Catholics but the wider world as well.

Thank you; together with sadness there is gratitude for the great gift that was his friendship. His writings certainly were esteemed by other christians as well.
