Now, I didn't even notice until very recently that the Twisting Nether server is listed as "RPPVP."
Does that mean we have to stay in character when we're getting ganked and having our corpses camped? I've never played on a PvP server before. Or on a role-playing server.

Yikes, I can't imagine having to say all that in E-o. rideto.gif

Okay, my fellow Esperantists can look for a newly-forged Dwarven Hunter by the name of... Frakseno on the Twisting Nether server.
I look forward to seeing you around.

Okay, so now I have characters on Malygos, Twisting Nether, Kil'jaeden, Malfurion, and Kul Tiras. And nobody else from Lernu is on! rideto.gif
See you around.

I made a character on TN, his name is Sfinkso, night elf druid. please add me. we should star a guild soon, or we might slowly start drifting towards our default servers. also eo in a rp server could be awesome. like part of playing in character for us could be speaking eo. we could come up with some sort of made up story about eo, and we could call it something else for artistic purposes. or not, i just think we could have some fun while using the rp aspect of the server.

Excellent!
This weekend I began the serious work of actually leveling a character on the Twisting Nether server, investing time in it to make it stick.
This character's name is not in E-o, alas. I am leveling a human rogue named Severinshade. And I look forward to seeing you all "in world."

I think it's a great idea to integrate Eo into our RP. We can definitely all be from an outlying part of the Alliance called Esperantujo. (Depending on how strict the server is about staying in character.)

Well, several of us were able to meet last night on Twisting Nether.
It is so encouraging to have full conversations in Esperanto while playing World of Warcraft, and the fact that some of us have connections from our participation here at the Lernu forums helps the sense of camaraderie we have so far. Last night was an interesting experience for me in that it was the integration of my language studies with my favorite game - a real incentive to work on my communication skills in a fun environment.
An Esperanto chat channel is set up and we're planning on getting the Esperanto guild started up soon, so the more Esperantistoj we can get on that server, the better. You needn't be anywhere close to being fluent; we're all learning from each other.
Get an Alliance character over to Twisting Nether in time to help us choose a guild name and be a founding member!

There are now four of us on Twisting Nether (RPPvP).

Estas nun kvar el ni en Twisting Nether.

Vesperombro, Magantino, Frakasulo, Paladino, Ostokapo kaj Severinshade

Stechjo (San Francisco)

Jordan:Considering the many, many, people who play W.o.W. all around the world I'd like to think that there some Esperanists found in Azeroth!

If you do play W.o.W.

I'd love to chat it up in Esperanto!
So far, I only know one other Esperantist(who happens to be a friend of mine) who plays. It'd be cool to meet others and perhaps start a guild. Also, speaking Esperanto in front of other players could be a great way to help "la Esperanto-movadon"!

Look me up:

Server:Akama(U.S.)
Name:Gnombledore

I'd be happy to contribute some gold to a new guild.

Any suggestions on a name? I like:

dEsperantists / dEsperantistoj or something like that.

if you see more then one esperantist on, type /join esperanto that will make a channel so that everyone can talk to each other without having to be in the same party.

Possible names for a guild (in no particular order):

1. La Fortmano
2. La Sercxantoj
3. La Aliaj Uloj
4. Paco per Batalanta
5. Nepacifistoj
6. La Batalantaj Lingvistoj
7. La Mortigantoj
8. Strangaj Langoj

Some tongue in cheek, but Azeroth is not a pacifistic world...
