Hi
Does anyone know the Esperanto word for a potty? My dictionary only gives the translation of 'freneza' as in mad not the potty as used by toddlers!

The CEED lists "klozeto" or "fekseĝo" for the item itself, and "necesejo" for the room in which you usually find it.

I've heard "necesejo" used, whereas I've never come across the others before, so I don't know how common they are.

Reta Vortaro gives "pispoto." If you want to give the idea that it's a small one for toddlers, you could modify it to "pispoteto" or "infana pispoto."

well, I've always thought that potties were like miniature toilets, so I guess that maybe necesejeto or tualeteto ridulo.gif
Or 'fekujo' (excrement-container?) or malsxparujeto (small waste container) could work IMHO, but truth be told I just made them up using suffixes etc just then so they might not be as suitable as I intended.

Another one may be beb-tualeto, but there are many possibilities here.

In "Hejma Vortaro" (I don't remember where I did download it from), "potty" is translated as "pispoto".
