Hx is a very underutilized letter. Hx and Jx are the coolest sounds in the langugae, and should be encouraged.

I propose we reintroduce Hx forms like monahxo instead of monako and hxemio instead of kemio.

I also felt that we should use Hxristo instead of Kristo to better reflect the greek origin of the word.

Ĥ-ambivalents unite! The lowercase ĥ is just too ugly.

Jh isn't a cool sound IMO. okulumo.gif But Hh is! Personally, I'm never sure when exactly I could use hh instead of k - anyone got a list of hh-words? (Yes, including things like arhhitekturo!) But, I really feel hh is underused!

And no, the argument about how the sound is too difficult to pronounce doesn't count because that's a question of your native language background! For me, hh is MUCH easier than for example distinguishing "sh" from "jh", "gh" from "ch" or "s" from "z"!

.
There's really no need to reintroduce the hx sound. Those words are part of the fundamento, the immutable unchanging base of our language. They'll always be part of Eo and we can use them whenever we wish.

What, the double-h lovers have a fan club? I feel left out, I'm gonna go find people like me who want to repopulate the Esperanto dictionary with Japanese neologisms rido.gif.

Personally though, I think the only reason people (kinda like me) find hh/hx hard is because there is never a good deal of information on how to make the sound if you don't have any exposure to it. I mean, jx etc we all know because it's in our language, but hx... Hx gets under appreciated in the world of linguistics I think (for english speakers). Along with H (for primarily romance-language speakers).

I'm with you on this one. The ĥ has to be one of the ugliest letters I've ever seen. This is regardless of its sound (which is a fine sound, and one that, with years of German under my belt, I can pronounce easily enough). The letter just looks awful.
