In addition to Mikelo, there are Lernu users zednik and roint who live much closer to you. You might try contacting them.
And I know there must be others. Some people who sign up on Lernu don't put their city or town, as they might not want to be contacted, so they just show up as living in the US. The more we make ourselves known, the more likely others will find us.
Also, please do join the Yahoo Group. There are pictures posted of the last ARE, which is a northeast regional gathering. You may want to attend the next one. If you have any questions, please send a message and ask.
