I get a lot of sceptics on my blog who love criticising some of what I write about, so I'm expecting the usual sceptical comments about Esperanto that I'm sure you've all heard before!
If you have a second, a positive comment about your Esperanto experiences would be appreciated

I've achieved fluency in other languages, but not in 3 months (apart from Esperanto, which was only actually a few weeks, but I'm not counting that since it's much easier to learn than others). This is the first time I am attempting it with a shorter time limit. If I don't succeed this time, I'll analyse why and try again with another one . I honestly do think that it is possible if you do it correctly! I'm trying to discover this correct method.
The blog is only a month and a half old, and is my way of sharing my thoughts and advice on my experiment!
I actually wrote a post specifically saying how I define fluency. It's definitely much more than "surviving". To survive you technically only need a few phrases. I intend to "enjoy reading", but that is barely a good criterion for fluency, since actually speaking and understanding is very important.
Let's see if I make it!
Maybe I won't get any negative comments about Esperanto on this post (I've only gotten positive ones so far), but there are certain commenters who love to disagree with me I just wanted to be prudent!

Basically it's flash card software, but you can move through words very quickly and, in my experience, you remember them very well when you're done.
I now follow the same procedure BYKI does with regular flashcards. Answer->Question, then Question->Answer. Works nicely!

Pharoah:I know it's possible to learn a fair bit of a language in 3 months, although it depends on the language. When I wanted to learn Czech quickly for a trip to Prague, I used the free software BYKI (which you can find here: http://www.byki.com/.I love learning languages with BYKI! I use it for learning Korean, but also Esperanto--- here is the link for the shared lists in Esperanto: http://www.byki.com/tag/esperanto I'm planning on making lists with the vocabulary words from the Ekzercaro, but don't want to put up more lists until I have some ratings and comments on the ones I already posted.
