I'm trying to write an Esperanto programming language, which I hope will be useful to somebody. I'm planning on using it to write some flashcard software for myself, since I'm still a beginner to Esperanto. I have a few things I don't know how to translate into a short keyword:

Input - Does enigu make sense? Input requests the user to type something.

String (as in string of characters) - In English we just say "string", but I don't know if that makes enough sense.

Swap - a stack command. This will be used a lot, so interŝanĝi is far too long.

Upper and lower case - What are these called in e-o?

Key - as in on a keyboard. I think I'm only finding the kind of key used to open doors.

Thanks for your help. I realize this might be a strange question ridulo.gif.

I can contribute with ĉeno for "string"...

But you'd better check this out... okulumo.gif

I find the Komputeko (Komputeka leksikono) unparalleled.

I wouldn't use "enigu" for "input" because I think that in this context, "input" is a noun, so "enigilo" or something like this ...

Upper and lower case are "majusklo" and "minusklo". A key is a "klavo".
