Actually I do guess I am a bit of a believer, I like to see the best in things quietly. But it depends, to me, learning Esperanto would be something so trivial as opposed to things I think people should be cautious in believing. I mean, since when was a language a matter of life or death? I've heard of families where the choice of a students language can result in fierce debate with the parents, and the same response if they try to join the army. Estupido. I'd rather my future children become hardcore EO-ist grammaticians and lobbyists than become people who go overseas to kill and be killed at a politicians request.

ceigered:It's funny for me, in Australia, particularly Adelaide, I've only met one person who knows what esperanto is. They dismissed it straight away as being a bit of a joke, ...My girlfriend calls me weird because I'm learning both Esperanto and tlhIngan Hol (yep, Klingon). Although I've found if I admit I speak Klingon first, most people take my learning Esperanto in stride. lol
