I will give $1,000 To the Person that gets the most Clicks to Lernu.netThis isn't one of those internet scams, is it?
The simple fact your tracking clicks scares me. I do not like click tracking.
Also, if you are just sending them to http://lernu.net you don't need the short url as lernu.net is SHORTER than the short URL...
Unless of course you some evil company that is tracking what people click on and then offering other people to whore out Lernu.net for money.

RiotNrrd:Although I'm on Twitter, I'm hardly a power user. So forgive my silly question, but... how do you know how many times a link you posted was clicked on?When you use Bit.ly to make the link shorter, It keeps track of the clicks and some other information.
This is the link to the information about the link I am sending out.
http://bit.ly/info/2d8oGy
This Link tells me How many clicks where clicked on a particular Link that I created.
And Im Sorry if I put this in the wrong Topic. To be Honest I don't think anybody has done Marketing for Esperanto since the day Zamenhoff stopped Mailing Letters to Journalist 120 years ago.

Maverynthia:I am a Proffesional Marketer, and Organizer For Non-Profit Events. Last Year I did 3 Events, Each Raising about 2.5 Million Dollars for the Organizations that Hired Me.I will give $1,000 To the Person that gets the most Clicks to Lernu.netThis isn't one of those internet scams, is it?

To be quite Honest it does not matter if you "like" click tracking. Every Organization needs Tools to see What Works and What does not work.
The Link is not tracking you, I don't care about your freaking Habbits. I Just whould like to know If you in fact Did Click on the Link. If the message Actually Got you to get off your but and ACT! If it did'nt Then I change the message. Oh and By the way THE INTERNET HAS ALWAYS KEPT TRACK OF BASIC INFORMATION that lets you know exactly How many Visitors You Get.
Lernu.net Servers will be able to tell you Not only How many people Visited the Site, But how many People Visited the Site that never Has. It will also tell you the last page you where on before you typed in lernu.net. Probably Lot more Depending on the Server.
Oh and If you where visiting a porn site, Now lernu's Servers know. But they only know Your IP Which is a set of Numbers that Identifies your computer.
So BOYCOTT THE INTERNET!
Also I'm Pissed that You think I'm a Scammer, Exactly How Can anyone Make anymoney whatsover asking people to Actually Go to a website called Lernu.net
So How do you know if your Marketing Campaign is actually creating results.
Oh and for the Prize of $1,000 I'm supposed to take your Word? No I want proof, And bit.ly is the Judge.
Why don't you Google "URL Shortners" before you say they are Evil. Or even Visit bit.ly
To be Honest you sound just like the people that Assume Esperanto died or is not in use.
Yeah go Ahead assume the Most Negative Scenario. And when you figure out How I can make Money, Asking people to Learn Esperanto Let me know and I'll Donate All the Money to Lernu.net

One thing, though, the way you capitalize random words makes you look a bit like a scammer. It's a habit that reminds me of those nigerian 419 emails, not that I hold it against you.

To be honest I am mostly frustrated that I am forced to learn Esperanto Alone Online. Any other language I would be able to find a friend to hang out with a couple times a week.
I know this forum is relatively small, But I am not fluent enough to Post this in the main Section.
I Will pay the $1,000 One year from now, Hopefully I get 5-20 People Tweeting All year long. In there Spare Time.
The Reason Why I am offering $1000 is Now we can write Press Releases and Mail them to the press, Talking about this Twitter Boredom Contest. Right now the Media Is Eating Up all Twitter related News.
