And don't forget the French Quarter in New Orleans. I don't see any reason not to use the word "quarter" when talking about districts. Although I do like the -urbeto ending for talking about the various ethnic districts in cities.

The possible usefulness of Ĥinurbo as I have defined it will depend on the extent to which a given Chinatown wishes to emphasize the culture of old China. This may vary from place to place. I would like to hear from Chinese Esperantists about this.
