ceigered:That website, "American Thinker", thanks to those articles is an insult to the people of the United States.
You'll get no argument from me.

I ran across that site on the 15th. It is unfortunate that some people do actually think that way. Unfortunately, there is no way to convince them that they are wrong; there is no evidence strong enough to overcome their predetermined beliefs.

George Soros is a major boogeyman in some circles, and the fact that he speaks Esperanto (although to my knowledge he hasn't actively promoted it in decades) is a damning statement about its goals in those peoples minds. ANYTHING linked to Soros is suspect, as it is immediately linked to an entire spectrum of strange beliefs; in wackoland, Soros might be just a bad guy who wants to destroy everyone's freedoms, OR he might be the antichrist who has come to destroy the earth. But no matter what he is (evil human or supreme satanic power) he's clearly on the wrong side of things. AND he speaks Esperanto, which not only isn't English, it isn't even REAL! Ergo sum quid pro quo e pluribus unum: Esperanto must be just as evil as he is.

Yeah. I know. But what can you do? It's not the same reality as reality.

Well I can confirm that Soros isn't taking over the world or is the anti-christ quite easily by saying I've never heard of the guy until today - and if he was taking over the world I would have known about it! lango.gif

But you're right RiotNrrd. The unfortunate reality is that people can easily get caught up in their own realities like on a trail that slowly diverges from the path you were originally headed on.

(BTW what's the Latin quote mean? "Therefore I am what on behalf of which one from many"?)

My theory is that Zam being an oculist really doesn't help, especially when you get people who are expecting to see "occultist" malgajo.gif

It is a mish-mash of 3 different latin phrases used as a farce proof. That is to say, it was a joke.

Silliness is everywhere and we have also in France lot's of stupid people of that kind (but both on the left and on the right in politic point of view). I think muslim also have some, and they put bomb in cars or fly with a boeing into towers...

The thing is the US stupid people have a particular form of stupidness: they take something obviously wrong or stupid for everyone and try to make people believe it's right. Seriously, who care about the 118th birthday of the Bill of Right?? The 100th ok, 125th also, the 120th if you want. I don't think there was something special for the 116th or the 117th... So how one seriously believe that such a claim can have some value...

RiotNrrd, by no way be offensed, I don't speak about the americans in general, only a minority of them
