I recall from learning Spanish that if I wanted to say "After a game", the correct way to phrase it is "Después de un juego."

However, Esperanto is not Spanish and I'm not sure which is correct. Most often from what I've seen I tend to think "Poste ludo" is correct but I'd like to hear your opinions on it.

Poste ludo means ‘afterwards, a game’. Because poste is an adverb, not a preposition, that’s not what we want.

Post de (‘after of a game’) is using two prepositions in a row. We don’t do that in Esperanto, so that's not what we want either.

So simply post ludo—‘after a game’—is correct.

Would poste de work or I am just being absurd?

I think it might work but it's absurd because it's unneeded.

I don't think "poste de" works. Poste means "afterwards". You would never say "afterwards of a game", it doesn't make sense.

Remember, just because Spanish uses "de" in this case, doesn't mean Esperanto needs to okulumo.gif

Also, regarding the poll - it shouldn't be "kiu estas prava"

"Prava" means to have the right opinion. So a person is "prava" when their opinion is correct. "Ĝusta" means "right" in the sense of factually correct; that's the correct word in this case.
