On Esperanto Day, December 15, 2009, we propose that bloggers everywhere create a posting for their blog that is bilingual, in their native language and in the International Language Esperanto. The posting should discuss language problems from the perspective of their home, town, country, or region. The goal is to raise awareness of the challenges of language in the 21st century including: lack of communication, miscommunication, loss of minority languages and cultural identity, high cost of translation services, etc. Je la Esperanto-Tago, la 15a de decembro 2009, ni proponas ke blogistoj cxie verku afisxon por sia blogo kiu estas dulingva, en sia denaska/nacia lingvo kaj en la Internacia Lingvo Esperanto. Interesting initiative. I wonder though why Esperanto USA cannot put the right characters on their homepage.
