I got a question - I got this sentence from a rusian friend:

Could you please translate it in Esperanto - He asked me to translate - but also I had my problems with this sentence. It is a "simple" sentence in a english learners book.
My attempt:
Se mi nur trovus kion celas tiu ulo, helpe de jam trovitaj faktoj, kaj ke mi trovu inspiron, kio bezonas cxion de la jam trovitaj faktoj.
Mi diris al mi mem: "Mi ankaux povus cxesi la provon tuj"

The words "kunliganta" and "eltrovanta" are adjectives and not suitable for per. Instead say kunligado de kaj eltrovado de.

But also in Esperanto - this sentence is causing me a enormous headache.
Probably it is originally written by some german guy - because they are perfect in writing long sentences containing many subsentences .
I thought my English is o.k. but certainly I failed on that one

No problem, to create german skatofrazojn with putting the subject into the 1th skatofrazoj and the regarding verb into the last of 10x skatofrazoj one. They are weird this Germans

In the United Nations, the German ambassador is making a speech, but the audience can't hear anything through their headphones from the interpreters. One minute goes by, then two. Three minutes, and still nothing. Finally an official bursts into the interpreters' room and says, 'What's going on? Why aren't you guys saying anything?' 'We can't help it,' replies an interpreter. 'All the verbs are on the last page!'

That's no joke, that's reality. We do our bests to make us the topic of day. Like this person He answered to the BBC reporter: "Would you please kindly to make your question in German because that is a public relation session hold in Germany. Probably you will understand that because you also talking english in your country". Probably his personal reason was his poor english language skills because he did show that before in the public. There was no political reason behind.
Btw. as a German I'm really ashamed about this (- ehm - person, too). That even scores more the english-language refusing behaviour by french authorities. I mean, he was aware that he represents Germany/German-Europe. (German-Europe is my definition as an EU citizen) Anyway, the EU will have to decide for an official bridge language the next time. And several new EU member refuses this status to the English language. Good chance to establish neutral Esperanto as the 2nd bridge language aside English. So all EU information only have to translated to two languages, not 26(!) languages by offical EU multilingualism policy (00:37 min "This is magic."). Okay, three ones. I forgot french

Sounds very interesting and grandiose compared to how parliaments normally bicker with no real outcome
(gotta love the parliamentary system).Sad reality for many who refuse the English language is that its use does seem to be ever increasing despite how much people say "oh Spanish is the new lingua franca" or "we should all speak French" etc. Makes the TV series Firefly seem all the more probable as a prediction of the future.
Anyway, if they are actually going to talk about this in the EU it would be interesting to see EO's result. Will it be "EU to use EO!" or end up in stalemate... Either way EO's got more chance than Lithuanian, Estonian or Swiss german.
