I got a chance to say a few words about Esperanto today on BBC West Midlands (after 40 minutes). I spoke rapidly, partly due to nerves, but that meant I could say more, including mentioning the google problem!

What Google problem?

Put google.fr into the URL, while it's still Zamenhof day (for another 3 hours or so, on the Eastern side of the Atlantic) and observe the difference!

google.com shows the Esperanto flag only when I access it via an US based proxy server. Go for example to zend2.com and enter google.com (until it's not Dec-16 in US)

Vilius:
You're right, that's amazing - but it still doesn't show on google.co.uk! (And in the UK it's still nearly half an hour before the end of Z day).

I actually thought that you paced your speech quite well and spoke quite clearly (although the host didn't seem to hear you quite as clearly with his Françaisesque "bankon" - or maybe that was just me mishearing him lango.gif).

Either way very interesting interview!

P.S.
With your awesome accent Miland I'm guessing you never had rolling R problems like me and a few others here? lango.gif

Dankon, amiko! I spent my primary school years in Scotland, so rolling 'r's is not a problem for me.
