I have received from a friend information about pre-publication orders for the much-awaited revised E-o/English dictionary by John Wells.
Here is the updated main page of the publisher (Mondial), which has links to further information about the book, and an on-line order form.
I don't intend to try to place an advance order with them yet, because I intend to wait and see if EAB can get a good deal for its members.
The dictionary unfortunately seems quite expensive, even with the pre-publication discount (for those who can get it). But I guess we might see used copies on the market in a few years.

Actually, the advance sales price looks quite similar to the price of the last edition, once you factor in inflation!
It isn't such a bad deal, when you stop to consider that Mondial is a small publisher that doesn't do a lot of volume sales.
Thanks so much for the info. I seldom use an offline dictionary anymore but I do plan to order this one. I am eager to see how Wells weighs in on some modern vocabulary issues.
