I've encountered the following examples of Esperañol:
*estarigi for starigi (from Spanish "estar" = "to be")
*apreni for lerni (from Spanish "aprender" = "to learn", but this may also come from French "apprendre", which means the same)
*necesiti for bezoni (from Spanish "necesitar" = "to need")

Also works the other way round. I think in Spanish class I once used "mia" instead of "mi", and "duobla" instead of "doble" ...

Gotta love those crazy germanic and french words!

Oh yeah, I had issues with that one when I started learning. BTW, necesitar has only one "s".
