saloli:If you mean y'all as in southern US English, a few of us started saying "viuj" while at NASK a few years ago. Of course, it is meant as a joke and is colloquial. Certainly not standard, which would just be "vi" or even simply "ĉiuj" as in "Dankon al ĉiuj".

It was a friend from New Orleans who started this at NASK, as best as I can remember.
But then how would you say y'all's? As in, "our tractor's better'n y'all's". Nia traktoro estas pli bona ol tiu de viuj?. Nah, reckon I'll stick with Nia traktoro estas pli bona ol la via.

(Yes, y'all's is a real word in Standard Alabama English, as is y'allselves.) rido.gif
If you actually need to use vi ĉiuj here, say: nia traktoro estas pli bona ol tiu de vi ĉiuj.

Well if I didn't mean it as y'all, but more in the "Thank you all for coming" or "Thank all of you for coming" or something along those lines, that's still "vi ĉiuj", right?

Oh, you mean "all y'all" (as in, I wanna thank all y'all for comin'). rido.gif Yep, vi ĉiuj.
