Greyshades, I think the word "to", meaning "nothing" should be replaced by "tawo" (thing-no). Also, "yo", meaning "want", should be replaced by cabupeye (doing-feeling-good-thinking) which basically means "would like" or "I'd feel good if I (e.g.) was eating right now." meaning "I want to eat". Kind of like how "would" is formed: capoye (doing-possibility-thinking: would). "Should" should be "papu" (state-truth:correctness) because true and correct have the same meaning. "papi" (state-goodness) doesn't make sense. "yu" could be used for "to have to" or "must" or "to need to" e.g. "I (must/have to/need to) go."

How do you say "different" and "become" (It's becoming dark, hot, different) in Vuyamu?

Greyshades (Погледати профил) 14. март 2010. 18.00.39

If we keep combining things, it's gonna turn into Puna shoko.gif

Become could be "xapa" (rendering-being) and different could be "wofe" (not-sameness).

What would replace the roots that we get rid of?

In that case "to change" (transitive) should be "xawofe" (make something not-same).

"Become" is "xepa" (start-being) and "to change" is either "xawofe" (render-different) or "xepawofe" (become-different).
"Xo" (undergoing) is followed by passive verbs.

Let's count! If "ma" (each), "yo" (want), "to" (nothing) and "xu" (changing) are gone, that must mean that there are now 95 words and there are 5 spaces. I think "to" should be used as the proper noun marker because it's in the noun group.

And I think I might create a Vuyamu page on Wikispaces.
And I already made it, check it out!

I didn't understand the usefulness and the logic behind mume (which).

While it appears to be the equivalent of "tiu-cxi-tiu" I think it's actually the same as saying "tiu cxi, kiu ....". I wouldna have a clue though.

Such languages are very interesting...

...but what are the names of the 100+ chemical elements, for example?

I guess they'll be of the form "chemical element one" (hydrogen), "chemical element two" (helium), etc. These are a bit long winded but okay, but what would molecules like methane and ammonia be called? The number of syllables will be unavoidably enormous!
